Featured in the 2017 Philadelphia Flower Show the Travelling Ecodome, of Netherlander Design, captivated anyone's imagination who wandered under the dome's steel frame. Despite the structures over arching size, Sci-Fi like lighting and handling of growing vegetation its design concept feels almost familiar. This feeling is partially contributed to evolution of architectural designs that have been on the books for decades. Similar to concepts for extraterrestrial survival with spacemen and woman seeking shelter from deep space under large glowing domes. Bring these ideas down to Earth we can see the effective purpose of integrating engineering and science to bring humans and nature closer together.
