Art allows us to create and image forms that all too often it stands alone. Appearing naked and unnatural, even if its intended effect was to mimic nature. Why maintain our defiant separation from nature? Allow it to grow with us in our communities, on top of our art.

Context is important, especial in a formal setting. equally as important is scale. A sculpture for instance, being placed in a public garden should be life size if not larger. As well as, having some visual connection to the dominating element of the site. If the material used to make the sculpture displays high contrast its surroundings then could be used blur hard edges.

Geometry in the garden or living environment acts as a hard focal point for the eye. Even smooth arching forms do not embody the organic nature of the site around them. To counter what our eyes see as obtrusive, natural materials make these static forms more dynamic.
